Job summary

Adler & Allan in Airdrie, Scotland is seeking a Multiskilled Technician to deliver essential services ranging from tanker driving, high-pressure jetting and environmental clean-ups to industrial services and groundworks.

You’ll operate specialist equipment and vehicles with training provided, while keeping safety, quality and professionalism at the forefront. The role involves varied daily tasks and a willingness to travel and stay away when required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (HGV or plant experience preferred).
• Practical, can-do attitude with flexible hours.
• Experience in a similar role or industry – or willingness to learn on the job.
• Strong team player, able to travel and stay away on short notice.
• Knowledge of RAMS and health & safety practices (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operating jetting and cleanup equipment
• Operate Company vehicles, (including HGV) or any other vehicle for which the postholder is suitably qualified to operate.
• Tackling spills, fly tips and environmental hazards
• Supporting civil engineering and industrial service projects
• Carrying out vehicle checks, maintenance and reporting
• Liaising with customers and ensuring job documentation is completed
• Being part of a call-out rota for emergency works (with overtime available!)
