Overview

Start your career in the water industry. As a field technician for Aqualogic, you will begin your journey at foundation level, gaining an understanding of the clean water supply, which is fundamental to human health. Water scarcity, caused by population growth and climate change, has meant that there is significant opportunity to progress within the Water Sector.

Aqualogic have many opportunities available for candidates to join our thriving field services team delivering key water demand related services to our Utility Customers, as well as a range of private and public-sector customers in across the United Kingdom, with the current focus within the Southern/Western England regions. Candidates must possess a driving license & be willing to work across region.

The successful candidates will be required to undertake field activities such as data logging with flow, pressure, and acoustic devices, as well as AMR/AMI Meter Installations.

As a Field Projects Technician your main duties will be:

  1. Flow, pressure & acoustic data logging – set up, installation and analysis.
  2. Installation of AMR/AMI – Metering devices.
  3. Supporting the team on a variety of different projects and initiatives.
  4. Undertaking water network audits and surveys.
  5. Responsibility for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work.
  6. Professionally represent Aqualogic both internally and externally.
  7. Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments.

Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

  1. Strong analytical skills, the ability to work accurately and quickly whilst maintaining both Aqualogic and the Customers KPIs.
  2. The ability to prioritise tasks and manage their workload effectively.
  3. Experience in the use of multiple technology providers such as HWM, Ovarro, Gutterman, Technolog & i2O.
  4. Good ‘Digital Literacy’ especially the use of Microsoft packages (Microsoft Excel).
  5. A strong team player, who places emphasis on collaborative working and knowledge sharing.
  6. Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service.
