Job summary

Minimal, a London-based technology company, is seeking a Field Technician to diagnose and repair autonomous vehicle fleets and support depots across London and on-site locations. You will handle maintenance, inspections, and spare parts logistics, working closely with engineers to improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on vehicle maintenance skills, a driving license, and the ability to travel to depots and customer sites.

# Field TechnicianLondon**Minimal is a London based technology company building a new way to move goods through cities. Intelligent, autonomous vehicles and the software that runs them, all built by our small and agile team.****Everything happens in our West London micro-factory, where we assemble vehicles, develop software and build new tooling all at once. Nothing here is off limits. If you have an idea, a solution or a better way of working, build it. You’ll be working alongside people with a passion for what we’re building and have genuine enjoyment in the process of building it.**Our vehicles are in daily commercial use, so when one goes down, it needs fixing fast. You're the person who gets it moving again - diagnosing, repairing, and keeping the spares stock that makes that possible.**What you'll do*** Diagnose and repair vehicles at customer depots and at the roadside on their routes, on jobs scheduled in by our support team* Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections across live fleets* Write up inspection records for Minimal and customer oversight* Handle warranty and repair work coming back through Park Royal* Hold and manage spares stock: what's needed, where it's kept, and fulfilling requests as they come in* Feed failure modes and root causes back to engineering and build, with the detail they need to actually fix them* Be the person on the ground when an operator's uptime is on the line**What you'll bring*** Hands-on vehicle maintenance and diagnostics - automotive, motorcycle, bicycle or similar* Comfortable with electrical systems and wiring, not just mechanical* Happy travelling to depots and working independently away from the workshop* Organised* Curious about how things work* **Required**: Driving License**Nice to have (any of these)**Field service · fleet or logistics maintenance · e-bike or EV systems · warranty processes**What you'll get*** Competitive salary* Share options in a high-growth company* Pension via salary sacrifice* 30 days' holiday annually (inclusive of bank holidays), plus a two-week company shutdown over Christmas/New Year* Training on our vehicles and battery systems, direct exposure to the engineers who built them* Tools and kit provided* 5 days a week at our west London HQ, plus time on the road at customer sites**Why now**Fleets are growing before the support function is built out - join early and you'll help shape what field service means at Minimal.**Interested?
