Overview

About the Company & Role: The company is a leader in rental solutions, providing high-quality, safety-first equipment and tailor-made services to customers across construction, industrial and infrastructure projects. This Warrington-based role sits at the heart of that mission: you'll install, commission, maintain and de-commission rental equipment at customer sites nationwide, and support branch operations when not on site. Occasional nights away from home may be required.

Package
  • Basic salary of £27,540 per annum
  • Private Medical Cover
  • 07:30am - 16:30pm Monday to Friday (40 hours) with overtime opportunities available at 1.5x and 2x rates
  • Base location: Warrington, with travel to customer sites across the UK (Predominantly in the North-West)
  • Occasional overnight stays depending on project needs
  • Full training and structured onboarding, with ongoing coaching and development
  • 22 days holiday + banks
Responsibilities
  • Operate a van and trailer to deliver, set up and de-install rental equipment (e.g., tanks, manifolds, hoses, berms, pumps, filtration and generators) at customer sites
  • Conduct pre- and post-delivery equipment inspections, maintenance and repairs
  • Provide clear equipment handovers and basic user guidance to customers
  • Load vehicles safely at the yard and complete required paperwork
  • Keep vehicles, tools, yard and workshop in a clean, organised and safe condition
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and comply with regulatory record-keeping requirements
  • Attend project close-outs to check and recover rental equipment
  • When not on site, complete planned maintenance and repairs at the branch to ensure fleet availability and reliability
Requirements
  • Experience not essential; semi-skilled mechanical awareness or aptitude is advantageous (full training provided)
  • Able to work accurately to pre-defined procedures with a strong safety mindset
  • Enjoys physical, hands-on work in a team-oriented environment; comfortable working independently when required
  • Full driving licence (Category B) is essential; confident operating a van and trailer (training provided)
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic IT skills to complete worksheets and safety training modules
  • Flexible to work overtime and occasional nights away from home as projects demand
