Field Care Supervisor - Leeds

Join our community care service as a Field Care Supervisor, where you play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality person-centred care is delivered to clients in their own homes. This position is a vital link between care staff, clients and management.

Your new role
Client Care and Quality Assurance
  • Conduct initial assessments and regular reviews of client care plans and risk assessments
  • Perform spot checks, quality monitoring visits
  • Ensure care delivery meets individual needs and preferences
  • Respond promptly to client concerns or complaints and escalate where necessary
  • Attend Multi agency meetings as required
  • Support teams with appointments and well being
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and staff, keeping records up to date
  • Supervise, support and mentor staff
  • Conduct Supervisions, competency checks
  • Provide shadowing, introductions and help identify training needs
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Assist in the rota planning and ensure adequate staffing
  • Provide emergency cover when required
  • Promote safe working practice
  • Act as liaison between clients, staff and management
  • Ensure timely reporting
  • Collaborate with external agencies, professionals involved in care provision
  • Effective communicator
  • Meet KPI's

Proven Experience in Care / Health field (2 years) supervising staff, clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding and CQC regulations.

Requirements
  • Promote company culture, best practice in line with policies, regulation and contractual obligations
  • Ability to work independently, use of IT Microsoft office suite, Car driver and access to car
  • Knowledge and understanding of best practice, Care certificate, RFQ level 2/ 3, first aid, Moving and Handling, Medication trained
