Job summary

Wellbore Integrity Solutions (WIS) is seeking a Field Specialist to perform all aspects of wellbore fishing operations at the well site across drilling, completion, workover or abandonment phases. You will work directly with the customer to provide fishing expertise and direction from intervention to abandonment, using WIS tools and services.

The role requires a technical/engineering background or equivalent field experience, plus strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Technical or Engineering Degree OR can be offset with field experience.
• Competent in oilfield operations.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in fishing and general interventions.

Responsibilities

• Execute scope of work per procedures and instructions.
• Coordinate with Customer Field Management Team on operations.
• Ensure access to pre-job supporting documentation.
• Verify pre-made-up assemblies and torque procedures.
• Report status to base Operations Manager or Supervisor.
• Complete Job Log and Service Tickets.
• Conduct and report safety observations.
• Prepare technical/operational reports and End of Job Reports.
• Provide training, coaching and monitor team performance.
• Foster high morale and top performance within the team.
• Identify issues and opportunities for the assigned region.
• Drive resolution of customer issues with operations team.
• Communicate policies, issues and expectations at team meetings.

Job Summary

The Field Specialist is responsible for performing all aspects of wellbore fishing operations at the well site as part of the drilling, completion, workover or abandonment phase of well operations. Utilising Wellbore Integrity Solutions tools and services, the supervisor will work directly with the customer at the wellsite to provide fishing expertise and direction from well intervention to abandonment operations.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Executing the scope of work in accordance with operational procedures and instructions.
• Liaison with the Customer’s Field Management Team on operational matters.
• Ensuring access is available to relevant pre-job supporting documentation.
• Checking that the pre-made-up assemblies are clearly marked in accordance with the inspection and test status marker and BHA Connection Make Up Torque procedures.
• Reporting operational status and performance issues to the base Operations Manager or Supervisor.
• Completing the Job Log.
• Completing Service Tickets.
• Conducting and Reporting Safety Observations.
• Preparing technical / operational reports.
• Preparation of End of Job Reports.
• Provide training, coaching and monitor performance of team members.
• Promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
• Identify, communicate problems and opportunities for the assigned region.
• Drives resolution of customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience.
• Communicate all operating policies and/or issues and expectations at team meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements:
