Job summary

PT Renewables is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their regional teams and work on forecourt equipment. You’ll be out on the road, diagnosing faults, performing planned maintenance, and commissioning sites with autonomy.

You’ll have a chance to work with pumps, pump controllers, POS systems, tank gauges and related tech while providing strong customer service to site staff and customers. Company van provided, plus overtime and shift allowances.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical understanding and experience repairing/mechanical equipment.
• Methodical problem solving with good instincts.
• Strong customer service skills when dealing with site staff and customers.
• Ability to work unsupervised yet collaborate with colleagues.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair fuel dispensing pumps, pump controllers, POS systems, tank gauges, DCDs, tank probes, submerged pump systems and PA systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance as per schedules.
• Commission new/refurbished sites and calibrate fuel dispensers.
• Assess and report accidental damage for costing.
• Carry out site surveys.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be out on the road, working independently as part of a close-knit regional team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on forecourt equipment. Think:

• Diagnosing and repairing fuel dispensing pumps, pump controllers, POS systems, tank gauges, DCDs, tank probes, submerged pump systems and PA systems
• Running through planned preventative maintenance schedules
• Commissioning new and refurbished sites, and calibrating fuel dispensers
• Assessing and reporting accidental damage for costing
• Carrying out site surveys

About You

• A solid mechanical understanding, with experience repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment
• A methodical approach to problem-solving, balanced with good instincts
• Strong customer service skills - you'll be dealing directly with site staff and customers
• The confidence to work unsupervised, plus the collaboration to pull together with colleagues
• A valid UK driving licence

No specific forecourt experience? No problem - if you've got a strong mechanical or electromechanical background from another industry, training will be provided to get you up to speed on this kit.
