Job summary

A renewable energy services company is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Dartford, England. Ideal candidates will have a mechanical background and be comfortable working on fuel systems. Looking for someone with a mechanical background – no formal qualifications needed. This is hands-on work, mostly around garages, fuel pumps, and forecourts. You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit team (5 people), working on petrol and fleet systems (less EV stuff). You’ll shadow a tech for the first 6 weeks, and get full training – including 3 days in Loanhead for induction.

What you’ll do:

• Service and repair mechanical and electronic fuel systems
• Preventative maintenance and fault-finding
• Work on-site at customer locations – mostly forecourts
• Commissioning new sites, carrying out site surveys
• 8-hour shifts on a rota
• No two days are the same
• £29K guaranteed from day one
• Time and a half for extra hours
• Double time for unsocial hours
• Company van – can use it personally

You’ll need:

• Mechanical know-how (fuel systems, engines, etc.)
• Basic electrical/electronic understanding
• A full UK driving licence
• A good attitude and solid work ethic
