Role: Field Service Engineer
Shift Pattern: Days - Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + allowances + enhanced overtime + laptop + phone + van

Location: Bristol

Want to work for a world leading specialist of large-scale industrial pumps and related rotating equipment within process industries? With over a century of expertise, this client has built a reputation for delivering high-quality solutions to clients across various process industries. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer with water industry experience to work on exciting projects, travelling all across the M4/M5 corridor, who will play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Installing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining large industrial pumps on customer sites.
  2. Carrying out fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on rotating equipment.
  3. Conducting inspections, overhauls, and refurbishments both on-site and in the workshop when needed.
  4. Working with clients to provide expert technical support and solutions.
  5. Using specialised equipment, including test instruments and lifting gear.
  6. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, following health & safety regulations.
  7. Completing documentation and reports related to service visits.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  1. Previous experience working with large industrial pumps is essential.
  2. Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with relevant qualifications (ONC/HNC, NVQ, or equivalent).
  3. Ability to work independently and diagnose complex faults.
  4. Full clean UK driving licence.
  5. Willingness to travel across the M4/M5 corridor and work on customer sites.
  6. Experience working within the water industry.
  7. Water Hygiene Card.
  8. Lifting Gear.
  9. First Aid.
  10. IOSH.
  11. High Risk Confined Spaces.
