Job summary

Vysiion Limited is seeking individuals to join their dynamic team in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and testing CCTV, Intruder Detection systems, and Access Control systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong technical background and experience in electrical installations.

The role offers engagement in varied projects impacting critical services, alongside a vibrant culture that promotes inclusivity and continuous development.

Qualifications

• Experience with the installation of CCTV, access control, and electrical installations.
• Able to work with various signal and power cables.
• Familiar with testing protocols for power and signal cables.

Responsibilities

• Install and test CCTV, Intruder Detection systems, Access Control systems.
• Install floor and wall mounted cabinets and containment systems.
• Terminate various signal and power cables, testing and recording results.
• Collaborate with the Field Services Team Manager to ensure team success.

Skills

Technical knowledge and experience of deployment/installation of CCTV

Technical knowledge of Access control systems

Technical knowledge of Intruder Detection

Conversant with MS Word

Conversant with MS Excel

Conversant with MS Project

Conversant with Databases

Education

CSCS or equivalent safety passport

Your new role:

• Installation & testing of CCTV, Intruder Detection systems & Access Control systems
• Installation of floor mounted and wall mounted cabinets and installation of various containment systems i.e. conduit, tray work, basket & trunking
• Installation and termination of various signal and power cables and testing
• Testing of power and signal cables and recording results
• To work closely with the Field Services Team Manager and other team members to ensure the success and profitability of the team

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Technical knowledge and experience of deployment/installation of one or more discipline such as CCTV, Access control, Intruder Detection, Wi-Fi, Electrical installations, etc
• CSCS or equivalent safety passport
• Conversant with MS Word/Excel/Project/Outlook & Databases
