Overview

We are seeking multiple Field Service Technicians to join our team in California! The Technician – Toner Production Equipment will be a product line specialist, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of the product's theory of operation and mechanics. Responsibilities include providing solutions to complex problems and supporting technicians remotely or in the field.

The Graphic Communications Division of FUJIFILM North America Corporation is the largest graphic distributor in the US, delivering advanced solutions in Ink Jet Printing, Digital Printing, Wide Format, Offset Plates, Packaging, and traditional Offset supplies. We are also industry leaders in Color Standardization and G7 implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation support and repair services to customers across North America
• Resolve complex service issues effectively
• Maintain communication with the Technical Service Manager, Regional Service Manager, and support teams to ensure accurate issue resolution
• Build strong customer relationships
• Perform pre-installation assessments and site inspections according to FUJIFILM standards
• Complete and submit service documentation promptly
• Manage parts return processes
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks
• Attend training sessions worldwide to stay current with product knowledge
• Work weekends and overtime as needed for installations, service calls, and training
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians for escalated issues
• Conduct technical training for technicians
• Assist in demos and customer visits for sales support
• Monitor key accounts and support activities for quick issue resolution
• Communicate technical issues to management and support groups
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Education

• High School diploma or GED
• Two-year electronics or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent field experience
• At least 5 years of field service experience with toner-based production equipment
• Extensive electronics and mechanical knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficiency in operating systems and hardware
• Valid driver's license (Real ID compliant) and passport
• Ability to travel extensively
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
