Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a Field Service Technician for industrial washers to service and install equipment across the UK and Ireland. The role requires diagnosing faults in electrical, control, and mechanical systems while visiting customer sites and supporting installation projects.

Ideal candidates will have strong electrical controls experience and be comfortable traveling, with overtime and travel allowances available.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service engineering or similar roles.
• Strong electrical and controls experience with fault-finding across mechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel throughout the UK & Ireland and to work occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of industrial laundry equipment at customer sites.
• Planned and reactive maintenance at customer sites.
• Electrical, electronic and mechanical fault finding across control systems and automated equipment.
• Diagnosing faults across PLCs, sensors, motors and conveyors.
• Carrying out equipment modifications and repairs as required.
• Providing technical support to customers and completing service reports.
