VELUX is looking for experienced Carpenters and Roofers to join our Field Service team in the RH postcode area.

We offer:

A key role as part of our differentiated offer to customers, involving reactive and responsive on-site Guarantee support. You will support sales through reactive and proactive dealings with customers to increase trust in VELUX products, improve installation quality, and differentiate VELUX in the market. You will be responsible for ensuring your time is used efficiently to support our customers.

This field-based role responds to service calls within the RH postcode area and supports technicians in Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, and London. Applicants must live within this area and expect to travel regularly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to service calls professionally, acting as a representative of VELUX.
• Diagnose and fault-find on VELUX products, ensuring first-time right repairs and clear communication with customers.
• Maximize interaction with Merchants for additional benefits and opportunities.
• Communicate credibly with various customer groups, including builders, consumers, and distributors.
• Maintain a well-stocked van and tools to portray a professional image.

Who We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate has a good education and experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and first-time fixes. A background in window fitting, roofing, or carpentry, with a City & Guilds qualification, is preferred. Good organizational, time-management, and IT skills are essential. The role involves working at heights and manual handling, with experience diagnosing roofing problems and basic electrical knowledge required.
