A healthcare equipment provider is seeking a Field Service Engineer based out of the Preston depot. The role requires delivering and servicing wheelchairs, with a focus on customer service and maintaining the company’s standards. Candidates must possess a full UK driving license and general workshop knowledge. This is a full-time role with competitive pay and responsibilities include completing paperwork and maintaining vehicle safety.
£12.55 per hour.
Based at: Preston depot, PR5 – full UK driving licence
39 hours per week
We are currently looking for Field Service Engineers to join the team within our Preston depot and we welcome applications from people who reside here or in the surrounding areas. As a healthcare equipment provider, Ross Care, work in partnership with the NHS to supply the necessary equipment and aids to support people in their day-to-day life.
Job purpose:
To enable the Company to achieve the agreed contractual standard of service required by completing initial training in the workshop reconditioning wheelchair equipment to gain essential product knowledge. On completion of initial training this will enable you to work out in the field delivering, collecting, repairing, and servicing wheelchairs. The expectation is that once fully trained most jobs will be completed on a first-time fix basis.
