ENV Services, Inc. has been a nationally respected leader in calibration, certification, and decontamination services for over 50 years. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide testing, maintenance, and repair of HEPA filtered devices, including Biological Safety Cabinets, Clean Benches, and Clean Rooms.
Responsibilities
- Using our test equipment, learn to test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment at customer locations.
- Receive training through classroom instruction and mentorship with experienced technicians.
- Apply good troubleshooting skills to assess, diagnose, and repair equipment.
- Perform required maintenance safely and communicate with other technicians to resolve service issues.
- Complete paperwork after each job to record time, repairs, and parts used.
- Work independently without supervision and represent the company professionally with a neat appearance.
- A company vehicle is provided; overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and good computer and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background checks, drug testing, and safety training.
- Experience in calibration or HVAC within pharmaceutical and biomedical fields is highly preferred.
Position Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).
- Willingness to travel long distances and stay overnight.
- Ability to work from heights using a six-foot ladder.
