An automotive recruitment company in Birmingham is looking for a Field Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair services across North London and Essex. The role requires a qualified technician with strong vehicle knowledge and offers diverse tasks, including callouts and emergency breakdowns. Are you ready to go on the road and take your technical skills to a dedicated network of customer sites?
If so, then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for a self-motivated and independent Vehicle Engineer who can travel to our clients' various workshops in a designated area, providing:
Your day starts when you start your vehicle! Your commute is from your front door to your fully expensed and kitted out Light Commercial Vehicle.
Day shifts - 45 hours per week.
In this role, no two days will be the same, and the products you work on will be diverse, including HGVs, Ground Support GSE, RORO (Roll on Roll Off), Fire and rescue, Tractors, Tugs, and other bespoke operating platforms.
Our industry is evolving rapidly with Electric & Hydrogen Vehicles now part of the present. You will receive training on the newest products and repair techniques as required.
A Class 2 Licence would be beneficial.
You will need to be a fully qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician or have been accredited via an authorized Apprenticeship.
