Field Service Plant Mechanic - Tom Price

Location: Tom Price, WA, AU, 6751

Reporting to a Field Service Supervisor, the motivated Field Service Heavy Diesel Mechanic will perform warranty and customer repairs on various CAT machinery and related products efficiently and safely. The role involves regular field service work based out of the Tom Price Branch, working on equipment including D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders, and Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F). Work will be conducted in a collaborative team environment with a strong safety focus.

Location: Tom Price - FIFO from Perth (interstate applicants considered). Residential options or full housing may be available for the right candidate.

Roster options include:

• 14 days on, 7 days off - 2 / 1
• 14 days on, 14 days off - 2 / 2
• 12 days on, 9 days off - 12 / 9

Overtime and some adhoc night shifts are available, with 10 or 12-hour contracts.

Qualifications and experience required:

• Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience (Mobile Plant Certificate)
• Previous field service experience, including diagnostics and maintenance
• Truck license - minimum LR; HR and MR preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Heavy equipment product knowledge; component change-out experience is advantageous
