The Opportunity:

Field Service Forklift Engineer

Contract: Permanent (40 hours)

Location: Grangemouth Area

Salary: £36,934 + Overtime, door-to-door payments, and optional call-out

The Impact you will have:

• Attending customer locations to determine the scope of work, assessing and agreeing with the end user on work priorities, and ensuring safe working practices.
• Communicating with the controller and customer about expected work, timescales, and costs.
• Identifying root causes of breakdowns promptly and obtaining correct parts efficiently, including consulting the Briggs Technical team if required.
• Ensuring all work complies with engineering standards and manufacturer specifications/tolerances.
• Performing inspections and checks during work to ensure equipment performance and safety before returning to the customer.
• Identifying additional work needed and informing the customer, especially if costs are involved.
• Maximizing potential revenue from damaged equipment.
• Completing all job and service documentation accurately, obtaining necessary signatures and documents from the customer.
• Raising safety concerns as needed.
• Raising at least one estimate for every four services.
• Keeping Work In Progress (WIP) to no more than 10 jobs.
• Ensuring patched trucks are PM compliant.
