About the Role:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a leading company in the medical imaging field. This role involves traveling to client sites to provide on-site and remote support for X-Ray and Medical Imaging equipment. You’ll be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various imaging systems, while ensuring that all service standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance for X-Ray and other medical imaging equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) and quality assurance (QA) inspections.
Manage and understand service software policies and procedures.
Complete internal and external documentation in a timely manner.
Attend vendor training (online or in-person) to keep up with equipment updates.
Maintain and ensure proper functioning of service tools and meters.
Stock critical replacement parts for consumables as necessary.
Communicate directly with customers and internal departments to resolve issues efficiently.
Represent the company’s core values in all customer interactions.
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours customer service needs.
Occasionally drive a company or rented vehicle to deliver or remove customer equipment.
Qualifications:
Experience working with medical imaging equipment and basic electrical systems.
Proficiency with field service tools and mechanical systems.
Strong technical skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to teamwork.
Willingness to travel and flexibility to work evenings or weekends if needed.
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
