Job summary

Pellenc ST in the UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain our optical sorting equipment for clients across the UK and Ireland. The role requires frequent travel away from home and a customer‑facing, hands‑on mindset.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/electrotechnical background and at least two years’ experience in field service, with strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrotechnical, or industrial machinery background with a minimum of 2 years of experience in commissioning and maintenance.
• Experience in a field engineer role with travel and a strong customer relations focus will be appreciated.
• Fluent in English for seamless communication with our clients.
• A passion for using technology to address global challenges, particularly in waste management.
• A curious and innovative mindset.
• The ability to work effectively in a team setting or alone while remaining self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
