This role involves carrying out service and repairs on equipment at customer sites in a safe, professional, and cost-effective manner, with proper documentation in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.
The position requires working according to a scheduled plan of service and maintenance at client premises.
Responsibilities include monitoring van stock levels, inspecting and ensuring the safety of trucks, accurately completing all paperwork such as job sheets and purchase requisitions, and maintaining equipment and tools in safe condition.
Candidates should have knowledge in mechanical or electrical engineering and be willing to undertake further training to excel in the role.
The role demands the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills, high standards, and adherence to deadlines.
Person Specification:
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Company vehicle and fuel card are provided, with optional private use (subject to tax regulations).
