Field Service Engineer – Vending and Coffee

Hours per week: Monday – Friday; Full Time + Overtime

Our client, with over 40 years of success, is looking to expand its energetic team passionate about people and service. You will be empowered to deliver excellent customer service and have opportunities to develop your career in a unique vending industry.

They have diversified from vending and catering supplies to providing managed coffee shops and distributorships for brands like Douwe Egberts Professional and Micromarkets.

They are seeking experienced Vending Service Engineers to cover South Wales and the West Country.

The Person

You should be an experienced Vending Service Engineer with broad machine type exposure and manufacturer training. You must be proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to ownership and high standards of customer service. A people person with a drive to excel and contribute to an exceptional service environment.

The Role:
  • Diagnose and fault find various vending systems, including electrical, water, refrigeration, ingredient, and espresso issues.
  • Optimize coffee systems for best performance.
  • Lead equipment installations and assist with movements and uplifts.
  • Complete all paperwork and procedures accurately and timely.
  • Identify and order parts, and manage warranty and service parts efficiently.
  • Provide training and advice to operators, customers, and end users.
  • Address customer issues promptly to ensure top-tier service.
  • Elevate recurring issues within SOPs.
Prerequisites:
  • Experience maintaining vending and coffee machines is essential.
  • Manufacture training (Coffetek, CraneMS, Evoca, Westomatic, etc.) is essential.
  • Technical aptitude.
