Job summary

FINTEC recruit Limited seeks a Field Service Engineer for Inverness, a permanent position with a salary banding of £38,000 to £41,700 plus benefits. The role includes regular overtime at 1.5x and a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, with a vehicle and fuel card provided, plus an on-call allowance for out-of-hours work.

Responsibilities include installation, commissioning and maintenance of electronic/electrical products, updating service records, and liaising with customers on sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified in an engineering discipline (electrical/electronics/mechanical).
• Willingness for field service work and customer-facing duties.
• Experience of working within a quality management system.
• Holds a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of electronic/electrical products.
• Update service records and input activity on electronics capturing all requirements.
• Liaising with customers on sites.
