Field Service Engineer (100jc) – Westbury/Remote – £35 to £45k depending on experience + benefits

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be part of our bespoke product delivery team working with soldiers to capture training data that provides insights on their individual and collective shooting performance.
To be successful in this role, broad experience is beneficial with strong technical skills and interests. You will also need excellent communication and collaboration skills to be able to work with colleagues, both in delivery and with the development team, and stakeholders.

My client is a performance analytics company based in the Southwest; they have an office in central Bristol and their main depot based in Westbury, Wiltshire. They embrace hybrid working and the role will be office based typically 1-2 days a week, but you will be required to travel depending on contract and customer demands and may be deployed between 8 to 12 weeks a year both in the UK and possibly overseas, with an extra payment of £100 per day when on UK deployment and with overseas carrying a higher daily rate depending on locations.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has a good understanding of communications systems and has the ability to carry out 1st and 2nd line repairs in the field, as well as being able to communicate with individuals at all levels from Pte’s through to Senior Officers when instructing them on the use of the equipment.
