Job Description

For our Data Center Segment (DCS), we are searching for an enthusiastic service engineer who is engaged in building top service knowledge about DCS products. The engineer should be able to share this knowledge with other Delta field service engineers and service partners in the EMEA region, utilize it in technical support for customers, sales, and product management, and participate in further improvement of products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • The major part of the role will involve customer training, technical support including on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting for critical cases.
  • Perform on-site diagnostics and service.
  • Be responsible for overall service-related technical documentation used in EMEA, define the scope of service jobs for each product (installation, commissioning, annual maintenance), and manage spare parts lists with substitution matrices.
  • Build and manage a network of service partners within EMEA.
  • Maintain a commercial mindset, capable of transforming customers’ pain points into business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of related experience as an electrical engineer.
  • Understanding of power and infrastructure solutions.
  • Ability to discuss and communicate technical details at both high and simple levels. Open to innovation and new technologies.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
