Job summary

A leading provider of recycling solutions in the UK is looking for a Field Service Engineer. This role requires extensive travel to customer sites to ensure installations work efficiently. You need technical expertise in electrical engineering and at least three years of relevant experience. Knowledge of hydraulics and willingness to learn is a plus. Qualifications

• Proven experience in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
• More than 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Willing to travel extensively.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to resolve malfunctions and complaints.
• Maintain installations and perform preventive maintenance.
• Assist in the installation of new machines and sorting systems.

Skills

Knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology

Ability to read and understand technical drawings

Willingness to run breakdown services

High proficiency in English

Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanics

Education

Technical, electrical or related education
