Location: work from home with travel to customer locations throughout the UK

Job Outline:

Our UK team based in Birmingham are seeking an enthusiastic Service Engineer with experience of the weighing and product inspection industry including checkweighers, metal detection and X-ray systems. The role is field based and will serve contracts across the UK and occassionally Ireland. We operate primarily in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries however there are also clients from across a broad spectrum of industries.

Responsibilities:

• reporting to the UK Service Manager
• responsible for ensuring that customers receive the level of service they have come to expect from a premium brand
• capable of working alone or in a team to commission, calibrate or repair the full range of our equipment

Qualifications:

• experience of inspection machinery such as checkweighers, x-ray and metal detection
• knowledge of the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries
• distinct communication skills and analytical skills
• willing to travel throughout the UK with over-night-stays as and when required
• willing to join the rota for being on call out of hours to service our customers who require 24/7 response
• software expoerience would be an advantage
