Job Description:

Honeywell is seeking a Field Service Engineer specializing in Tank Gauging to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems, following detailed work instructions and updating them as needed in collaboration with engineering teams. The role involves customer training on equipment usage, troubleshooting, and basic repairs. This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer sites.

We provide solutions in performance chemicals, process technologies, and automation controls, supporting the transition to renewable energy and a low-carbon economy. Honeywell pioneers automation control, understanding complex industrial facilities to develop high-quality, high-performance chemicals and materials.

Key responsibilities include:

• Start-up, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and repairs at customer sites.
• Understanding customer requirements and collaborating on existing systems.
• Advising customers on obsolete equipment and promoting replacements.
• Creating accurate reports of activities and findings.
• Using, maintaining, and calibrating measuring equipment and tools.

Key skills and qualifications:

• Experience in field services, preferably within instrumentation; Enraf knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Full UK Driving License.
