About the role

As a Draeger Field Service Engineer, you will ensure service assistance and operational requirements are met, delivering high customer satisfaction and achieving service goals.

You will support Regional Service Managers, Team Leaders, Senior Engineers, and others to improve service performance and project delivery across Draeger’s product lines.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and corrective repairs.
  • Conduct warranty repairs and installation activities.
  • Implement technical corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback on field issues to Service Management.
  • Participate in team meetings and report on installed base accuracy.
  • Support sales with replacements and special programs.
  • Assist in marketing efforts such as exhibitions and workshops.
  • Help develop contracts and achieve lifecycle business goals.
  • Maintain company assets and tools according to guidelines.

Reporting Relationships

Manager: Regional Service Manager

Team Environment

Regionally based team of approximately 20 field service engineers, supported by Senior Engineers and Specialists by product modality.

Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • Degree in electronics, electrical, or computing studies with 3-5 years’ experience preferred.

Related Experience

Proven experience with capital equipment and systems, preferably in medical devices.

  • Strong customer care skills and relationship development.
  • Organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Completion of CCNSG or similar skill cards and registration with professional bodies like VRCT.
  • Reliable, honest, and trustworthy, representing the company positively.
