Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Field Service Engineer to maintain and repair medical electronics equipment across the South West England region, ideally based near Bristol. You will provide technical analysis, on-site service and customer training in line with quality standards.

Applicants should have an engineering degree in medical electronics or camera technology, fluent English, strong IT skills, and at least 3 years in medical electronics with hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering in medical electronics or camera technology or equivalent.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English (technical and medical).
• Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook).
• Minimum 3 years experience in medical electronics, plus hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations and enhancements to customer specifications.
• Troubleshoots technical problems and recommends actions for product solutions.
• Assesses product needs, conducts technical training and product briefings with customers and vendors.
• Acts as local on-site representative to the customer's organization.

Field Service Engineer

Position summary

To maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service business on Stryker’s products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. Delivertechnical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.

What you will do

• Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations.

• Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution.

• Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives.

• Acts as local on-site representative to customer's organization.

What you need

• Degree in engineering medical electronics and camera technology or equivalent, or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience

• Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) English

• Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook)

• Minimum 3 years experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills

• Minimum 2 years experience in the hospital environment and health care work

• IT experience on administrative and technical level

• United Kingdom: £31,800 - £52,900 GBP Annual
