Job summary

SPX FLOW is seeking a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot and repair pumping systems across customer sites throughout the UK. The role is Sywell / Northampton based, with regular nationwide travel and occasional overnight stays.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on metering and dosing pumps, diagnose faults, and lead maintenance teams on-site when required. You will work directly with customers, provide technical expertise, and contribute to project

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering qualification (HND or equivalent) required.
• Maintenance experience on industrial equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership experience in industrial environments.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative & corrective maintenance on metering and dosing pumps.
• Diagnose faults and solve complex technical issues.
• Lead maintenance teams on-site when required.
• Work directly with customers providing technical expertise.
• Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays and potentially globally.
