Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to service, maintain and repair CHP and gas engine systems across a regional area.

You will work on electrical fault finding, drives and PLCs, while maintaining a strong customer-facing presence and ensuring minimal downtime on a Monday–Friday schedule. The role offers a base salary of £37,000–£38,750 with overtime (OTE £60K+), a company vehicle, training, technical progression and pension benefits, in a

Qualifications

• Experience working with 450KW+ systems.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)
• Customer facing role
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory
