Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) in Bristol to maintain and service CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems for a growing energy provider.

You will travel within the surrounding territory, perform electrical fault finding, and drive fault repairs while delivering excellent customer service. The role offers a salary of £37,000–£38,750 with overtime, a vehicle, training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience working with 450KW+.
• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar.
• Experience as a Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer or Marine Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC)
• Customer facing role
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory
