The Role

Operating from a home base in the North West (Manchester, Warrington, Liverpool, or surrounding areas), you will:

  • Service and maintain portable air compressors, energy storage systems, generators, lighting tower.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively.
  • Carry out commissioning, pre-delivery inspections, and upgrades.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and be a trusted face of the brand.
  • Work closely with the service team to plan and organise your schedule.
  • Represent a company known for professionalism, reliability, and engineering excellence.

This is a field-based role with daily travel across Northern England and occasional overnight stays, supported by excellent overtime and travel allowances.

About You

You are a skilled Field Service Engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise.

You may have experience in:

  • Generators, portable compressors, energy storage, or similar equipment.
  • Power distribution systems, construction sites, maritime settings, or the military.

You will also bring:

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both face-to-face and digital).
  • HNC (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering (advantageous).
  • A full clean UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
