Qualifications

• Experience as a Hydraulics Engineer, Field Service Technician, or similar roles preferred.
• Ability to climb on and under heavy machinery.
• Must possess interpersonal and customer relationship skills.

• Diagnose and resolve customer technical reports.
• Service various machines on and off site.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Complete job cards and paperwork promptly.
• Request parts efficiently.

Our client is a well-established and successful company. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide onsite customer support for heavy plant machinery within the region, focusing on maintenance, repairs, and inspections to keep machinery in peak condition.

• Experience servicing a wide range of heavy tracked plant machines
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Ability to investigate & diagnose technical problems, including climbing on and under heavy machinery
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Interpersonal skills, customer awareness, and commercial awareness
• Ability to work without supervision

Salary and Benefits:

• Company Van provided
• Salary: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour + overtime (time and a half)
• Door-to-door pay under certain circumstances
