Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer for food manufacturing packaging machinery. The role involves installation, commissioning, repair and refurbishment with minimal weekly travel and a focus on delivering outcome-driven client support in the Northwest.

The position suits a qualified multi-skilled engineer with hands-on packaging machinery experience and an apprenticeship up to HNC in Electrical & Electronic engineering, with knowledge of the 18th Edition and PLC

Qualifications

• Experienced food factory Maintenance Engineer with hands-on packaging machinery experience.
• Experience as a Field Service Engineer with packaging machinery in food manufacturing.
• Qualified multi-skilled engineer with an apprenticeship up to HNC in Electrical & Electronic engineering.
• Knowledge of 18th Edition & PLC advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair and refurbish packaging machines in the food manufacturing sector.
• Minimal travel: about one night per week, with almost no weekend work.
• Provide outcome-driven support for clients within the Northwest region.
