Qualifications

About The Role

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the Norwich area in the UK. You’ll provide first-line customer support, servicing, and repairing Flowbird ticketing equipment, as well as assisting with installations and managing stock.

Location: Norwich area covering Norfolk - Cambridge - Great Yarmouth

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9-5 flexible

Salary: market rate

What You'll Do

  • Perform on-site maintenance and repairs on ticketing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic software issues using PC tools.
  • Ensure a first-time fix approach and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain clear communication and escalate major issues as needed.
  • Keep accurate records and manage service calls via the call management system.
  • Handle and maintain company stock and spare parts.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades.

What You'll Need

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in an electrical field.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical engineering, ideally in vending, transport, or similar industries.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
