About the Role

Flowbird is a leading provider of smart city and mobility solutions, dedicated to making urban life easier and more sustainable. We design, develop, and deliver intelligent public transport and parking solutions that help people and cities move forward.

Position: Field Service Engineer covering Northern Ireland

Location: Belfast or surrounding areas

Shift Pattern: Initial training from Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm; Post-training, 4 days on, 4 days off (7am - 7pm)

Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site maintenance and repairs on ticketing equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic software issues using PC tools.
  • Ensure a first-time fix approach and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Maintain clear communication and escalate major issues as needed.
  • Keep accurate records and manage service calls via the call management system.
  • Handle and maintain company stock and spare parts.
  • Follow Health & Safety regulations.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and upgrades.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Experience in electro-mechanical engineering, ideally in vending, transport, or similar industries.
  • Full UK driving license
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure.
