Field Service Engineer - Pathology Diagnostics

Location: North West London
Salary: up to £45k + company bonus, Car + Benefits

Leading supplier of Haematology and Coagulation products currently seeks a Field Service Engineer to support their customers in North West London (within the area of the Thames to A406/A10). The role may also require travel to support UK customers as well as distributors in Eire and Northern Ireland. This is an exciting position that comes through further expansion of the business, and you will join a strong existing Field Service team.

Responsibilities:

1. Repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance of the company's analysers.
2. Undertake product and technical training in the UK or overseas as required.
3. Provide weekend and bank holiday technical support on a rota basis.

Requirements:

1. Full and current UK driving licence.
2. HNC/HND educated (or equivalent) in electronic or mechanical engineering.
3. Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
4. In-depth knowledge of haematology-related instrumentation is ideal, although experience with high-end photocopiers/printers would also be attractive.
5. Experience in a similar role in the diagnostics industry is advantageous; engineers from Armed Forces with knowledge of lab/medical instruments are also encouraged to apply.
