Syntech Recruitment Ltd is supporting a market-leading engineering business in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join their service team covering North and East London, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. You will install, service, fault-find and commission a range of specialist industrial equipment at customer sites, travelling to customers and working independently.

Qualifications

• Previous Field Service Engineer/Service Engineer/Maintenance Engineer experience.
• Time-served apprenticeship in electrical, mechanical or controls engineering desirable.
• Strong fault finding and repair experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist industrial equipment.
• Fault finding on electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Commissioning new equipment at customer sites.
• Conducting planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Completing detailed electronic service reports using a tablet or mobile device.
• Participating in a 24/7 callout rota.
• Working across North and East London, Hertfordshire and Essex, with occasional overnight stays.
