Role Overview: Field Service Engineer - UK Wide & Globally

Joining their dynamic team servicing the UK & across the globe, my client is looking for a Field Service Engineer to conduct the installation, service & maintenance work for vacuum furnace equipment on-site. The ideal candidate needs to be a multiskilled engineer, and wants to be part of a close-knit team who values trust & integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation, service & maintenance of vacuum furnace equipment on customer sites.
Responsible for the start-up and commissioning of vacuum & furnace equipment on customer sites.
Offer after-sales technical & commercial support whilst maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Willingness to travel across the UK, Asia, USA & EU as required.

Requirements:

Several years' experience in a similar maintenance or field service role with electrical & mechanical competencies.
Mechanical engineering qualification.
Experience with PLC Systems or Software (ie: Siemens, WINCC, InTouch, Wonderware).
Experience working with vacuum furnaces & heat treatment is ideal. Experience working within plant maintenance or industrial maintenance is desirable.
