We're looking for a Service Engineer based in Middlesbrough or surrounding areas. The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to our customers and resolving ongoing issues as needed. You will ensure a high-quality, reliable service to our customers and colleagues, addressing reliability issues promptly. Any issues with van stock or training needs should be reported to the Head of Field Service.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Adhering to Franke UK Technical Standards and Processes
  • Participating in on-call weekend rota for technical assistance and reactive calls (once every 4 weekends)
  • Identifying technical skills gaps
  • Managing stock levels
  • Managing customer relations at site level
  • Keeping up-to-date with company admin and training courses

Highlight issues requiring Account Support due to ongoing customer issues.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate understanding and experience relevant to the Field Engineer role, including:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the coffee machine or vending industry
  • Proficiency with phones and laptops

Additional qualities include excellent communication skills, personal integrity, analytical and prioritization skills, and the ability to discern when to inform or escalate issues. The role may also involve other ad hoc duties relevant to daily operations.
