Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair autoclaves and related medical sterilisation equipment across LU, MK, AL and HP postcodes from Luton/Dunstable.

You don’t need prior medical equipment experience; full product training will be provided. The role suits hands-on electrical/mechanical engineers with fault-finding skills and a full UK driving licence, who can manage their own service visits.

Qualifications

• A practical electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering background.
• Experience fault finding, repairing or maintaining equipment.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ideally based in or around Luton / Dunstable.
• No medical equipment experience is necessary – full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair medical sterilisation equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical and electro-mechanical faults.
• Carry out repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Manage your own service visits across the LU, MK, AL and HP postcode areas.
• Build positive relationships with customers, providing professional technical support.
• Help customers with consumables and equipment requirements where appropriate.
