Job summary

Pathology Laboratory / Medical Diagnostics Analysers

The Role

Following expansion, we are seeking a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer to:

• Provide service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostic systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments.
• Visit customer sites and offer valuable troubleshooting solutions.
• Liaise with a wide range of external customer contacts, including laboratory managers and laboratory technicians from the NHS as well as private independent scientific organisations and laboratories.

Your Background

• Demonstrated experience as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive work on high‑value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
• Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, pre‑press, printing or high‑value electronic/electro‑mechanical capital equipment.
• Full product training will be provided; candidates from diverse background in field service and customer support will be considered.
