United Utilities is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Field Service Engineer to work at Williamsgate, maintaining critical water assets in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on mechanical maintenance with on-the-job training to broaden skills across multi-skilled maintenance.

You will diagnose faults, repair equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to health and safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical discipline.
• Strong fault-feeling and diagnostics experience in mechanical maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and execute maintenance tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across Water assets.
• Diagnose faults, carry out effective repairs, and return equipment to service.
