Job summary

KPJ Group in Leatherhead is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our established engineering business. You will perform scheduled and reactive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and provide a high standard of customer service while supporting a 24-hour callout rota.

You should hold an ONC/NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds Level 2 in Mechanical, Electrical, or Motor Vehicle trades. The role offers Monday–Friday 8am–4pm, £38,789 per year, 25 days’ leave plus holidays, 6%

• Maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on customer systems.
• Providing high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled maintenance
• Carrying out unscheduled maintenance and fault-finding
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing reactive repairs
• Monitoring the performance of customer systems
• Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and productivity
• Helping reduce equipment downtime
• Maintaining accurate service and maintenance records
• Participating in a 24-hour callout rota
