Instead of the traditional take-make-waste model, where resources are used once and then discarded, our circular-first managed print services centre around refurbishing and recycling Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) and parts wherever possible to cut carbon emissions, reduce landfill waste and provide a more cost-effective solution for our customers.

What we're looking for…

Our team of Field Service Engineers are responsible for upholding the exceptional levels of service our 14,000 customers expect from Agilico. With specialist manufacturer knowledge you will be comfortable to fault find on a variety of machines, you'll have experience of connecting to customer networks and troubleshooting to minimise downtime. You'll also be used to following individual KPIs and working with other stakeholders across the business with the customer in mind. This role is to cover the M4 Corridor in North-West London, so ideally you'll be based around this area.

What you'll be doing…

Diagnostic and Repair:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in MFDs.
• Perform repairs on mechanical and electronic components of MFDs in accordance with the Mandatory Call Procedure.
• Replace defective parts with new or refurbished ones.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functioning post-repair.
• Update firmware and software as required, so IT knowledge will be an advantage.

Quality Control:

• Perform final quality checks on refurbished MFDs.
• Communicate with customers to provide an effective post call summary of faults, necessary repairs/parts along with clear timescales.
• Ensure all replacement parts meet company standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate repair records of repairs.

Inventory Management:

• Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, car stock and tools.
• Order new parts as needed to maintain stock levels.
• Track usage and report any discrepancies.

Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Document all work performed on each MFD.
• Provide detailed reports on completed refurbishments and repairs.
• Maintain logs of parts used and time spent on each task.
• As an ambassador for Agilico, signal any sales opportunities to the relevant Sales team.

Skillset:

• Confident in maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressurised situations.
• Highly organised, process driven and ability to take full ownership and accountability of high-level projects.
• Ability to work as part of a dynamic fast paced and tight knit team, as well as comfortable to work own your own initiative.
• Build effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.
