Job description

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Maintenance Engineer. The HTEC Field Service team offers hardware support to their customers 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. The equipment supported varies from payment terminals to EPOS and Head Office Solutions in the forecourt, retail, and office sectors.

The service teams are split into two divisions, Install and Maintenance, and currently offer onsite support between the hours of 7am and 8pm. The Field Service Maintenance Engineers currently work 9-hour shifts, six days on and then 3 days off, with the shift blocks rotating between an early shift (7am-4pm), and a late shift (11am-8pm). Shift patterns may change as dictated by the needs of the business. For this role, you will need to be located in the Leeds area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attending maintenance visits as required.
  • Responding to all calls within the required service level agreement (per call).
  • Responsible for asset management.
  • Providing accurate and timely call closure and stock reporting.
  • Attending proactive maintenance, basic installation, and joints visits as scheduled by Operations Team.
  • Completing all engineering paperwork.
