The Role - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems

Following expansion, they seek to recruit a technically motivated and customer-focused Field Service Engineer responsible for:

  • Service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems used within pathology departments, NHS laboratories, and clinical chemistry environments.
  • Visiting customer sites and providing troubleshooting solutions.
  • Liaising with external contacts, including laboratory managers and technicians from NHS and private scientific organizations.
Your Background - Field Service Engineer, Laboratory Diagnostic Systems

To succeed, you must demonstrate:

  • A background as a field service or technical support engineer with experience working on high-value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics.
  • Experience with diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, scientific equipment, or similar high-value electronic/electromechanical equipment is preferred. Full product training will be provided, so applications from various technical backgrounds are welcome.
