Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain industrial equipment on customer sites across Scotland, with some overnight stays. You will travel to sites, perform planned and reactive maintenance on biomass boilers, and participate in on-call rotation.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, you will join a growing renewables-focused team, with training provided where needed and a long-term, permanent role offering stability and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as a field service engineer in an industrial setting.
• Comfort with travel and overnight stays across regions.
• Ability to service and maintain industrial equipment, incl. biomass boilers.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance, servicing of industrial equipment.
• Work on biomass boilers with training provided.
• Covering Scotland with occasional stays away from home.
• Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (40 hours).

Are you a Service Engineer from any industrial background, looking to join an industry leader offering a long-term, stable, and permanent role, for a company who will look after you for the long-term?

In this role you will be travelling to customer sites to perform PPM, RM, and servicing on a range of rotating equipment and industrial biomass boilers, with training given if needed. You will be staying away when needed, and on call 1 in 4 weeks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business who are at the forefront of the renewable energy movement and are making a real difference in the world. They are experts in processing timber and creating renewable energy products like wood pellets and biomass fuel.

This role would suit a Service Engineer who is happy with frequent travel and some staying away, whilst working on large industrial equipment, for an industry leading giant offering plenty of stability.
